You may have noticed that I haven’t posted here in a while. Why? Time. That’s all. No more nuanced reason than that.
Over the past year and a half, I’ve poured myself into a new hobby: indoor bouldering. The time I spend at the climbing gym eats into the time I have available to write about video games. And since I want video games to continue being a big part of my life, I’ve had to choose to PLAY games more than WRITE ABOUT games.
But I still love writing, and so I’ve started a bouldering Substack. If you happen to exist in that weird Venn diagram where video games and indoor bouldering overlap, please head over to Sendship, a Bouldering Substack, and subscribe. I aim for bite-sized weekly posts.
The super-short form posts are much less time-consuming than the posts I’ve done here at Video Games Are Real, which is why I have room for both climbing and writing about climbing.
If you head over there, I hope you enjoy it. If you don’t, well, I’ve loved having you here at Video Games Are Real.
